A clinical calculator designed for and Ophthalmologists and Ophthalmic trainees.
The App will assist in customizing the surgeon factor as described in the equations published in Holladay JT, Prager TC, Chandler TY, Musgrove KH, Lewis JW, Ruiz RS. A three-part system for refining intraocular lens power calculations. J Cataract Refract Surg. 1988; 14:17-24.
Consists of two calculators:
The Surgeon Factor Calculator: calculates the surgeon factor, estimated IOL position and corresponding A-constant. The surgeon factor can be saved to a database this will be actively averaged as cases are aggregated.
The Conversion calculator: Converts the familiar A-Constant to other anterior chamber constants (surgeon factor and ACD constant) to explore the range of values.
